JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the IS&T Engineering Lead architect, you will own the strategy and architecture of Train system portfolio of Alstom PLM business solutions supporting Engineering business processes. And you will act as a member of the PLM control tower to ensure overall consistency.
YOUR JOB:
- Ensure alignment with Métiers global business processes for System Engineering solutions
- Define and maintain long-term solutions roadmap and strategy (3+ years), aligning:
- business strategic stakes, vision & value,
- solutions architecture & urbanization,
- vendor roadmaps,
- global capabilities, capacities and budgets/investment priorities,
- IS&T operating models (delivery & support),
- obsolescence management of all IS&T layers,
- compatibility with technical & security patterns, and continuous alignment with IS&T Infrastructure & Security roadmap
- Proactively anticipate solutions evolutions to serve or even provoke Alstom business transformation, by continuous and regular internal & external benchmarks, and market watch
- Conduct pre-studies, deliver High Level Designs and support execution of IS&T projects
- Collect and manage demands from central Business
- Promote Alstom Core Model, by leading evolution and Ensuring its consistency
- Support operations teams with regards to critical incidents
- Support roll-out, ensuring that Core Model is applied.
Major challenges for next years, on this scope will be multiple, and structuring for Alstom:
- PLM transformation program
- Bombardier integration project
- Digital transformation for engineering processes
- Bring adoption to next level by enhancing user responsiveness, mobility…
- Enable agility in Core Model, while ensuring robustness of the platforms and supported processes,
- Open platforms to extended entreprise, with security by design and default,
PROFILE:
To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:
- Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in Information Technology, you have more than 10 years of experience in PLM solutions, on various roles (business/functional architecture, project management, core models definition, solution deployments, technical projects
- You have a solid knowledge on Engineering business processes, from industrial companies designing and manufacturing complex products mixing mechanical, electrical, software, …
- You have a strong knowledge and more than 7 years of experience in Eng. System solutions on various roles (business / functional architecture / core model definition, solution deployment)
- You demonstrate good communication, efficiency and ability to execute. You are result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
- You have a very strong leadership and are business value oriented.
- You have worked on Dassault Systemes solutions – ideally on DS 3DEXPERIENCE plate-form
- Fluent in English, you are eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
