Purpose of the job:

  • In the context of Enterprise Content Management (including documentation mgt, global search, collaboration tools, process modelling, Knowledge Mgt..), leverage Transverse expertise
  • To improve central ECM process & tools
    • Work with ECM Program team, Business Process Owners & Digital Transformation to enhance central ECM framework
    • Promote ECM principles to include them in new Process & Tools design
    • Work on adoption solutions (training, communication campaign…) & performance monitoring
  • To work with Product Lines, Metiers & sites
    • Improve their efficiency to manage, retrieve & share information
    • Configure/adapt ECM standards with business requirements
    • Train working groups on ECM process & tools


Key Accountabilities

  • Help define the strategy, the standards and the goals for ECM process
  • Drive specifications & business value to enhance solutions
  • Enhance the KPIs relative to the process and monitors the results vs targets
  • Develop & promote opportunities to improve process efficiency and synergies with other processes
  • Ensure ECM community alignment and global animation (early adopters, process owners, key users…)


In charge of deployment and knowledge management for his/her domain, the Business Analyst:

  • Measure competencies on ECM process and propose development actions (skill pool, recruitment principles, training, process & tool enhancements…)
  • Collaborates with the Internal Audit teams to measure the maturity of sites and processes
  • Collaborate with region / site representatives to secure deployment, development plans and data to actions for middle management on the processes
  • Creates, sustain & develop Key User network
  • Leverage the Alstom project methodology and Alstom Management System


The Business Analyst collaborates with Digital Transformation teams:

  • is responsible to monitor & suggest improvements of the existing solution performances
  • supports new enhancement of solution & tools implementation in the domain of competency
  • collects the functional needs and convert it into business specification for change request
  • helps consolidating the business value
  • manage external consultants

  • Document management and search KPIs
  • Level of automation & productivity
  • APSYS maturity on document management
  • Project On-Time-Delivery



  • Min 5 years of experience, being involved in transverse project management involving multicultural teams
  • Basics in company operating models, project management
  • Good knowledge and practice in document management, collaboration and search engine (AI)
