Leveraging internal global organization (Regions & Product lines) and external partners, collect, assess and spec in customer requirements concerning wayside IT, digital and data-driven solutions and contribute to enhance Alstom solution portfolio. In particular, manage work packages within digital transformation R&D or European digital programs (such as Shift2Rail, Agora …)


  • At pre tendering phase
  • Initiate and develop relation with IT stakeholder within our customers in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Collect, assess and structure global IT requirements from key customers to feed solution directors.
  • Support sales teams to spec-in customers with Alstom capacities for future tenders or new business opportunities.


  • At tendering
  • Support bid team to structure and enhance wayside IT workpackage in close relation with solution directors.
  • Support legal team in specific IT specificities within global contract (SaaS, SLA, 3rd party software IP …).
  • Challenge IT risks and propose appropriate risk mitigation plan.
  • Contribute to IT activity costing.


  • In general
  • Deliver standards to support customer IT Solution channel to market (pre tendering, tendering, upsale …).
  • Contribute to competitiveness assessment of customer IT solutions and explore new business models in relation with customer requirements & existing solution packaging.



  • Capture, analyze and allocate customer requirements.
  • Develop awareness to scale up customer IT development across Regions & Product Lines.
  • Develop & maintain a network with customers IT stakeholders. Contribute to the referential of costs & risks on customer IT solutions & services.
  • Contribute to a referential of competition capacities in term of customer IT solution.



To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes: 

  • Empathy & relationship development to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Digital service packaging & sales / Capacity to summarize complex digital architecture or IT operations (SLA, SaaS…)  into sellable concept.
  • Project management skills for Planning and Execution on tenders, projects and work packages.
  • Aptitude in communicating, public speaking and interpersonal skills.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Proactive and efficient responses to pressing issues and challenges.
  • Business Acumen in Digital / IT offerings and data monetization.
  • Strong ability to convince, influence & persuade.
  • International mind set with good language skills (French and English).
