Your future role
As a Switchman, you will be responsible on a daily basis for monitoring the track access and for making the necessary manoeuvres to contribute to the smooth running of the REM project's train tests based in St-Eustache.
You will have to promote the HSE culture throughout the site. Any activity under your responsibility must be carried out in accordance with the policies and regulations
health and safety regulations in force on the site and according to the rules defined by the OP team.
This position has a temporary full-time status (12 months) given that the project will end in March 2026.
Your main responsibilities
• Track and control employee/contractor access to the OP area
• Drive the hi-rail vehicle to monitor track route
• Manual manoeuvring
- Manually operating switches and crossings
- Accompany the test train in automatic mode
· Assisting electricians with safety measures

Comfortable to operate in the field in all seasons
• Be the main point of contact for the shift
• Manage emergencies in the event of a risky situation

• Technical training and/or relevant experience
• ASP card
• Flexibility to work different shifts (day/evening/night/weekend)
• Occupational health and safety champion • Strong teamwork advocate with good communication skills in French and if possible English as well
• Have a valid driver's license in Quebec
• First training Care an asset
