YOUR INTERNSHIP

Based in St-Bruno, Quebec, you will be responsible to work with the procurement team on various elements of procurement and supply chain cycles including Supplier Management, Project Procurement Management on current Train projects.

In your role, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:

• Prepare requests for quotes, identify suppliers and participate in negotiations
• Place purchase orders at the suppliers in order to meet production schedule
• Expedite deliveries with suppliers to ensure production schedule is met
• Use ERP system of the company daily
• Follow-up on procurement & supply chain process key performance indicators
• Maintain database of ongoing opportunities
• Participate in the preparation and coordination of Supplier performance reviews and negotiations
• Reconciliation of PO’s and Receivables.

YOUR PROFILE

As our ideal candidate, you:

• Are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or Business Administration
• Have a Continuous Improvement mindset
• Are Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Have strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Project Management experience would be an asset
• Are fluent in English & French, spoken & written
