The TCT Transformation Manager is accountable for defining, leading and implementing cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives
in the area of Regional transportation:
§ Strategy definition and deployment
§ Project Management Office Governance
§ Business Process Owner
§ Expert in international Transportation, logistics and customs overall process
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Strategy definition and deployment
§ Participate in definition of TCT strategy
§ Support functional budget definition based on new needs and productivity improvements
§ Support promotion and utilization of TCT in collaboration with the Regional Supply Chain team
Project Management Office Governance
§ Define and deploy the TCT governance process; animate multi-functional teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, IS&T,…) across
all Product Lines (RCS, Services, DIS)
§ Coordinate initiatives and animate TCT teams to secure the efficient deployment of services to Sites & other internal
customers
§ Drive the planning and execution of complex and innovative projects, using relevant project methodologies and tools
§ Follow up progress of portfolio of projects and support reporting
§ Facilitate teamwork by monitoring risks, analyzing needs for coordination and actions, links and dependencies between
projects and/or functions
§ Prepare and animate project reviews; contribute to search for new ideas and solutions and ensure formalization and
communication of decisions
§ Provide standard slide decks for weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, leveraging standard KPI Dashboards (OTD, costs/
savings, activity and workload…)
§ Adjust and re-prioritize activities with operational and project teams to adjust to evolution of needs and other constraints
§ Contribute to annual Budget process (Headcounts + Cost of TCT structure)
§ Act as delegate of TCT Manager on request
Business Process Owner
§ Benchmark best practices with external providers, TCTs or global, processes and tools; organize technological watch
§ Organize a regulatory watch and provide an expert view to the TCT teams on complex topics
§ Support SC/PIO design with TCT expertise and costing information as required
§ Communicate Alstom Supply Chain “Golden Rules” and escalate when Sites or Suppliers are not respecting them
§ Ensure all TCT applicative process & tools (including digital tools) are used by all Stakeholders and drive continuous
amelioration
§ Support the preparation of and participate, if requested, in compliance audits, follow-up and closure of corrective actions
§ Subject Matter Expert/SAP-GSI Key User role to support TCT organization
§ Document requirements and specifications with regards to IS&T tools and development
§ Be primary point of contact with IS&T teams (GSI/ Ariba, Smart Ops, e-Pop…) to define, prioritize and coordinate deployment
of systems & tools improving productivity and efficiency, and increasing users visibility and adoption
Expert in international logistics and customs
§ Work in synergy with Alstom Customs expert & network to ensure Customs compliance.
§ Deploy Alstom’s Customs strategy, process and instructions across TCT activity
§ Ensure compliance and application of Customs rules and processes by TCT teams
§ As a referent, provide day to day support on customs & International trade topics
§ As an expert and referent, provide day-to-day support and assistance on Transportation, logistics, customs and international
trade topics to all Sites and stakeholders
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Educational requirements
Mandatory:
§ 1 year to less than 2 years
§ Master's Degree
§ French & English required
§ Spanish desirable
§ Knowledge of modern principles for efficient transportation management, and distribution control
Experience
Mandatory:
§SAP Ariba
§ Experience with task and process automation and app development using Microsoft Power tools (Power Automate, Power Apps)
§ Knowledge of modern principles for efficient transportation management (TMS), Booking and tracing platforms, and distribution control.
§ Validated experiences in transverse projects, logistics, 3PLmanagement, import and export procedure
§ Good knowledge of customs regulation and procedures in NorthAmerica (Canada, USA and Mexico)
Desirable:
§ Experience managing EDI (Electronic data Interchange connections) with external providers or IT implementation projects.
§ Experience with reporting tools to build KPI (Power BI or similar)
