Could you be the full-time Train RAMS Engineer in St-Bruno, Quebec we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your railway safety and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and proactive teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our rail systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, industrial, sourcing, validation), coordinate with RAMS contributors, and ensure compliance with safety and reliability standards, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining safety and reliability requirements, but also managing and reporting on RAMS activities.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Planning and managing RAMS activities and deliverables for your assigned projects or programs

  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom's RAMS processes and customer-specific requirements

  • Assessing and demonstrating the safety and reliability levels of Alstom products

  • Defining and tracking safety and reliability requirements to mitigate risks

  • Supporting stakeholders in implementing and documenting required measures

  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on all RAMS-related matters

  • Degree in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or a related Engineering field

  • Experience or understanding of railway safety analysis and RAM prediction methods

  • Knowledge of safety and reliability demonstration tools

  • Familiarity with railway products and systems

  • A relevant certification in safety or reliability engineering

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including working with customers

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal
