Accountabilities:

  • Support the Total Rewards – Pension and Benefit (TR – P&B) manager with the administration, support, and problem resolution for all benefits and retirement plans. 
  • Act as an expert related to employee benefits and pension plans by providing Tier 2 support and answers to questions on plan provisions and resolve escalated issues
  • Support administrative processed related to daily adminitsration, year end, and compliance items for all Benefits and Retirement plans. 
  • Liaise with third parties to solve inquiries and coverage issues
  • Analyze and propose process imporvement initiatives based on case management trends and issues resolved.
  • Ability to complete process mapping, analysis of data, and audit data for accuracy on an ongoing basis. 
  • Support Share Services with process mapping and structure of Tier 1 support
  • Maintain a documentation library for all Benefits & Pensions processes, timelines, inventories, and participation trackers.
  • Ensure integrity of the databases with our various administrators and collaborate with the various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of the information (Payroll vendor, HR system, etc.)
  • Suport communications for HR, management, and employees regarding  benefit programs, leveraging email.
  • Assist Total Rewards Manager with project management, through effective organization, documentation, tracking progress, managing deadlines and prioritization of tasks.
  • Support other projects as needed.

 

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, Actuarial Mathematics, or related area
  • Minimum 3 years prior experience in Pension & Benefits
  • Analytical skills, ability to manipulate data and complete complex reports.
  • Knowledge of employee benefit programs and defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans, as well of laws and regulations related to Canada
  • Fluent in French and English
