Could you be the full-time Tender Procurement Manager in Saint-Bruno we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your sourcing and cost management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, innovative, and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring competitive and robust tender cost commitments that drive the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Bid Managers, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, and more), develop and implement sourcing strategies, and contribute to the optimization of our cost productivity and risk management framework.
You’ll specifically take care of managing the sourcing commitment during the tender phase and building a reference library aligned with market prices, but also lead pre-bid agreements to secure competitive advantages.
We’ll look to you for:

Building robust and competitive tender cost commitments

Managing the Product Sourcing Reference Library to align with market prices

Developing and implementing sourcing strategies during the tender phase to ensure cost productivity

Collecting and formalizing Return of Experience on deployed projects

Liaising with various stakeholders to prepare tender sourcing commitments
-
Challenging commodity buyers and managers to increase competitiveness and align strategies with tenders

Managing cost opportunities and risks with tender and multi-métier teams
-
Promoting standardization and optimal technology by challenging tender requirements
-
Leading the strategy and monitoring localization requirements (e.g., Buy America, Buy Canada, DBE)

Collaborating proactively with Engineering to ensure “Design to Cost” (DTC)

Consolidating sourcing commitments during the tender phase, including actualization and firming calculations

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Purchasing, Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Supply Chain, or Finance

5 years of experience in a relevant area such as Project Management, Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, Procurement, or Supply Chain

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel
-
Bilingual: French and English

Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Capacity to perform under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

A results-oriented approach with the ability to apply structured methodologies effectively

Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset when collaborating with international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers
