The regional organization you will join has 13,000 employees across 12 countries in the Americas. 

 

Your assignment will be twofold.  First, you will act as a Business Partner for the Digital & Integrated System product line in Alstom Americas, directly contributing to the development of the best team with the best talent to deliver our projects.  Secondly, as a member of the Alstom Americas Talent Management team, you will develop and monitor talent management solutions across the Americas, impacting all our business units, to ensure that we grow our people capability to grow our business.

 

In this role, you will need to balance implementing new initiatives with a high degree of ownership and operating in the context of a large global organization that requires stakeholder alignment and engagement.

 

Specifically, you will

  • Act as Talent Business Partner to ensure that talent and leadership competencies are appropriately assessed and mapped, and that individual and group development actions are available and impactful
  • Lead the People Management Cycle processes for your product line and provide support, coaching and expertise to your HR colleagues
  • Design and implement leadership development solutions with a reach across Alstom Americas
  • Build relationships with local universities and organizations to improve employer branding and talent development
  • Develop and execute internal communications, marketing solutions and change management plan for Talent Management programs

 

You will report to Vincent-Pierre Giroux, Head of Talent for the Americas (https://www.linkedin.com/in/vpgiroux-ing-msca/) and work in direct partnership with the business and HR team for the Digital & Integrated System product line of Alstom Americas.

The position is based in St-Bruno, Québec, Canada.

 

You will offer:

  • Significant operational experience in talent management and development gained in an industrial organization.
  • High level strategic thinking skills and proven experience in designing and implementing large scale talent development solutions to improve job skills
  • Proven ability to balance strategic organizational thinking with hands-on solution design and execution.
  • Ability to work with and promote the use of HR data and HRIS solutions
  • High level of learning agility, curiosity, and flexibility. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse region and in the context of a global matrix organization that fosters collaboration across teams.
