You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the development, integration, and performance optimization of signaling subsystems within the Rolling Stock & Components (RSC) division. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (mechanical, electrical, and software engineers), lead the integration of signaling subsystems, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of defining subsystem architecture and functionalities, but also managing interactions with various stakeholders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing comprehensive functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements for RSC signaling subsystems

  • Leading the integration of signaling subsystems into the Rolling Stock

  • Specifying and documenting necessary interfaces (mechanical, electrical, and network communication)

  • Conducting thorough integration validation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

  • Implementing and managing change control processes for signaling subsystems

  • Planning and coordinating engineering activities alongside stakeholders

  • Actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical support

  • Identifying potential issues and proactively developing solutions to enhance performance and reliability

All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering preferred)

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in system engineering, with a specific focus on signaling systems or the rail industry

  • Familiarity with signaling standards and regulations, system integration techniques, and configuration management methodologies

  • Bilingual fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset

  • A proactive, curious, and adaptable approach to dynamic project environments

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:
