Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality assurance and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll lead efforts to ensure the delivery of high-integrity software that meets stringent industry standards, making a significant impact on the quality and compliance of railway systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with engineering teams, project management, and internal stakeholders, as well as guide and mentor a team of software quality engineers, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining and maintaining the software quality strategy aligned with regulatory and business objectives, but also developing and enforcing software quality processes in compliance with industry standards.
We’ll look to you for:

Defining and maintaining the software quality strategy to align with regulatory and business objectives

Establishing quality KPIs, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to drive continuous improvement

Driving a culture of quality and compliance across engineering teams

Providing quality input to bids, proposals, and project planning

Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of software quality engineers

Identifying quality risks early in the development lifecycle and ensuring mitigation strategies are in place

Overall understanding of software engineering lifecycle models, tools, and techniques

Proficiency in problem-solving and other quality methods and tools

Experience or understanding of software configuration management techniques and tools

Familiarity with railway industry standards (e.g., EN 50128, EN 50657, ISO 9001, IEEE 1558 with associated IEEE standards, CMMI, IRIS)

An auditor certification (desired)

Strong communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in an internationally diverse environment with empathy and adaptability
