Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your planning and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the “On Time Delivery” of customer contractual milestones for all projects within your area of responsibility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Product Lines, Group Planning, Group Project Management Office (PMO), and regional teams, to ensure time coherency across functions and layers. You’ll also oversee the deployment of planning métier requirements and foster a culture of continuous improvement in planning activities.
You’ll specifically take care of leading the planning managers’ community across Alstom and defining company-wide project planning processes, but also supporting bids and project execution with effective planning strategies.
We’ll look to you for:

Animating and managing the planners’ community in your area.

Ensuring time alignment between various functions and operational layers for all planning activities.

Deploying and promoting planning métier requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.

Leading the development and deployment of planning processes, methodologies, and tools across the organization.

Providing support and coaching to bids, projects, and sites on planning matters.

Fostering a culture of time-related risk and opportunity management while promoting transparency and accountability.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.

10+ years of experience in Planning, Project Management, or Supply Chain roles, including project/bid management, development, or production.

Strong understanding of scheduling processes and tools.

Good experience in the railway or construction industry.

Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Kinaxis, Planisware, Primavera, or Microsoft Project.

Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with senior management.

Comfortable working in a matrixed, international environment.

Strategic thinking, multi-tasking, and decision-making abilities, with a results-driven approach.

Bilingualism
Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
