You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of technical publications and training activities across multiple projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, suppliers, project management), oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure deliverables meet quality and financial objectives, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Manages the implementation of the technical publication process to develop the maintenance documentation and provide related contractual deliverables across Services and RSC projects.
- Identifies and monitors constantly workload forecasts for the project Documentation activities, the Services documentation engineer oversees and secures adequate staffing of the project services documentation project team.
- Manages any 3rd party sub-contractors across Services and RSC projects.
- Manages the development and synthesis of customer requirements in compliance with applicable reference libraries.
- Develops and implements the Services Documentation management plan for the project(s) in scope.
- Manage relationships with ISR cross functional teams and internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitors Planning, cost and quality of the project Documentation content in line with the Services Documentation management Plan and provides corresponding reporting to services documentation manager and ISR Project Manager.
- Ensure coordination/consolidation of contributions from key stake holders of the project (External suppliers, ISR project lead / Participating Units)towards achievement of the Services Documentation objectives on projects.
- Ensures that project documentation databases e.g. Product Development Management (PDM) are correctly populated within the relevant database /storage location.
- Performs Quality Control/Reviews of the Services Documentation before release to projects.
- Performs the Key Process Indicator (KPI) measurement, monitoring and tracking to meet Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) targets.
- Provide active support to ISR project leads to the preparation and conduct of the ISR Design Reviews and ISR work-package reviews for the Services Documentation part.
- Produces Services Documentation KPI dashboard in line with Services PL guidelines.
- Coordinates with ISR project lead and or Services teams to ensure customer satisfaction on Technical Publications.
- Produce documentation deliverables such as Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), system description manual, preventive and corrective maintenance manual, troubleshooting, operator manual and technical description
- Ensure that maintenance documentation is published using Alstom standard method & tools
- Executes or manage the technical publication studies and provides services deliverables along the life of the project phase with respect to the Services Documentation management Plan.
- Performs Quality Control/Reviews of the Services Documentation before release to projects.
