You'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) of our systems and products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, validation, and project management), contribute to the assessment of RAMS performance, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of performing RAMS analyses and producing related deliverables, but also address customer and independent party feedback to ensure compliance and approval.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing RAMS analyses in accordance with Alstom processes, instructions, and customer requirements.

  • Delivering RAMS analyses that meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments.

  • Addressing feedback from customers and independent parties to ensure approval of RAMS deliverables.

  • Contributing to the assessment of product RAMS performance and identifying necessary requirements to meet targets.

  • Reporting progress and promptly alerting the Train/Subsystem RAMS Engineer and relevant stakeholders of any challenges.

  • Adopting a product-oriented mindset to enhance the consistency and relevance of RAMS studies and requirements.

  • Developing a technical understanding of Alstom products to assess safety performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • A degree in Rolling Stock Engineering, Validation, or Electrical/Electro-mechanical Engineering (training in RAMS competency will be provided).

  • Experience or understanding of RAMS analysis, demonstration methods, and tools.

  • Knowledge of safety performance assessments and requirements development.

  • Familiarity with engineering and validation processes in the rail industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in French and English for reading and writing technical documentation.
