PME Expert is reasponsible of managing the PME expertise and make sure that this expertize is deployed on the manufacturing sites TMS, as well as supporting the DFO scope for the toolbox definition

Key accountabilities: 50%
-    Support the EX-BT sites teams in the transition to the ALSTOM processes implementation
-    Put the required actions in place to go from Ex-BT processes to Alstom processes
-    Define clearly the trainings dedicated to Ex-BT people 
-    Be actively part of the Method and Tools / BPE networks in order to get the last updates to implement and give REX to improve processes

PME scope at tender phase: 10%
-    Ensure that the industrial assumptions (PIO, MoB, Macro-process) are defined in line with industrial Reflib and SMP/SML of the product range and support the Tender Operations specialists in the biding phase.
-    Validate the quotation relative to the industrial costs.

PME scope at project execution phase:30%
-     Develop the tool box for PME metier to be used on the sites and for training purposes
-    Develop & deploy standard time estimators for manufacturing at all sites
-    Develop & deploy 3D work instructions in AME
-    Implement and audit the process for standardized assembly books
-    Deploy monthly AME methods power user governance call with manufacturing sites
-    Standardize JDDP, First Unit Validation & DfMA templates?
-    Set up and training of line balancing, road orders, station boards etc. - Establishes training, process, analysis on line balance development and road order implementation
-    Training of methods personnel (tools, KPIs and processes) - Develop standards, policies, training materials and development plans
-    Develop a detailed audit schedule and perform audits at all AME sites to ensure compliance & continued sustenance of processes
-    Ensure alignment between engineering and methods build structure (taking multi-site model into account) (Doc 9 - Manufacturing Drawing Tree)
-    PFMEA process development and deployment in methods AME
-    Standardize Line Implementation Layouts & Templates
-    Ensure the implementation of the standard processes and the standard product solutions: SMP/SML, standard equipment, standard solutions
-    Ensure the manufacturability (and the transferability if relevant) using validated technologies
-    Ensure co-engineering methodology and rules are followed-up to optimize lead time and quality of development.
-    Validate, for the industrial scope, the gate reviews of the DFQ, and that the conditions to pronounce the Serial Go of NAM projects are fulfilled with the sites PME if relevant
-    Ensure documentation and ERP data are complete, on time and with the good level of quality. That include the standardization of the data set-up for new projects in NAM.
-    Support the sites PME managers for the implementation of manufacturing equipment on time, in line with EHS rules, with good ergonomic conditions, and compliant with the QCD targets of the project.
-    Drive continuous improvement and deployment of the Global PME processes et standardization across NAM sites, in line with the Central Vision

Participate to the PME Networks.
-    Contributes to build or improve standards with the synergies between the two worlds Ex-BT and Asltom
-    Ensure good participation of his collaborators to the relevant networks.
-    Manage the EHS requirements in the field of industrialization, and as management committee member.

Performance measurement: 
-    Develop and deploy standard tools and KPIs for the methods, manufacturing engineering & tooling functions 
-    QN KPI
-    TI / CCT KPI
-    EBOM-MBOM KPI
-    Achievement of tender targets
-    Promotion of industrial standardization (carry-over, methods …)

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements :
Engineering or master’s degree level education, preferably in manufacturing, mechanical disciplines.
Experience :
5 to 10 years’ experience in Rolling Stock or component business on industrial activities.
Background examples : Methods & Tools, Master data manager
Industrial Skills : Industrial Management, Lean Manufacturing 
EHS experience in the Industry (preferably Railway or Aeronautics)
Competencies & Skills :
