Join us as a new graduate in engineering, and you will have a defining role in your career, based in St‑Bruno (QC), Canada.

You will join an engineering team in St‑Bruno within one of the engineering disciplines contributing to train development. The position is available for the following six profiles:

Architecture Profile

  • Specification of train functions and performance
  • Link between customer needs and system integration

Mechanical Design Profile

  • Design of components, assemblies, or installations considering the function, industrialization, and maintenance of the train

Control Profile

  • Specification of subsystem functionalities
  • Development of relay logic and train software specifications

Electrical Schematic Profile

  • Design of the train’s electrical schematics
  • Selection and sizing of cables and other electrical components

System Profile

  • From subsystem solution specification to qualification
  • Link between the supplier and the integration of the subsystem into the train

Validation Profile

  • Planning, preparing, and executing train validation tests for qualification

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to project deliverables for your discipline using the provided tools
  • Learning and applying Alstom’s standard work methods
  • Actively collaborating in the team’s problem‑solving process

 

As an ideal candidate, you have:

  • A recently completed bachelor’s degree in engineering recognized in Canada
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Skills in time management and reporting
  • A sense of urgency and priorities
  • A structured and organized approach with a practical mindset
  • Bilingualism in French and English
