This role can be located in one of the following locations: Saint Bruno (QC), Kingston (ON), Brampton (ON) or Thunder Bay (ON)



You play the role of vendor key contact for critical Logistics service provider(s)

  • Contribute to Monthly Performance reviews with Logistics providers and site supply chains
  • Ensures that communication channels are in place for a smooth process between Alstom and the service provider(s)
  • Drive continuous improvements initiatives with service providers
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions for any operational or system issues occurring at the sites
  • Monitor the business case and achievement of objectives


You drive consistency in process mapping, systems & data across Sites

  • Support deployment of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) across Sites;


You lead key initiatives at cluster level

  • Launch and lead Logistics Outsourcing projects
  • Contribute as subject matter expert for TOT-TOM logistics related activities
  • Contribute to PIO strategies


You animate the network of logistics engineers and provide training and support

  • Act as subject matter expert in logistics specifications
  • Support site supply chains in ensuring training and succession plans are developed for key positions within logistics network
  • Act as a change agent and messenger for logistics within the cluster


You facilitate the continuous improvement and transformation of the Logistics organization

  • Be a facilitator for Operational Excellence and Lean leadership applied in the domain of Logistics; occasionally lead Problem-solving or Kaizen events



  • A University degree in industrial engineering or supply chain field
  • Knowledge of modern principles for efficient distribution networks
  • Minimum 2 years, in similar position
  • Validated experiences in logistics, 3PL management     
  • SAP knowledge, an asset
  • Leadership, initiative and decision minded
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills
  • Strong Ethics & High Integrity
  • Continual learning & professional development
  • Fluent in English; French is an asset
