Your future role
Our In-Service Readiness (ISR) department, in charge of supporting customers on different aspects such as Operation and Maintenance, Technical Publication, Training, and Special Tools, recruits a person to be part of the logistic support analysis (LSA) team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance studies on rolling stock equipment.
The selected candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Collaborate with customers to address maintenance or operational issues and identify optimization opportunities
- Create, analyze and optimize maintenance plans
- Develop strategies to reduce maintenance costs
- Use operational feedback to improve service strategy
- Perform risk analysis on maintenance tasks
- Review technical documentation to extract relevant technical data
- Prepare technical reports and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with transportation authority regulations and applicable laws
- Conduct financial analysis and workload calculations to support decision-making and resource planning
- Evaluate the maintenance cost of the systems over the service life (LCC - Life Cycle Cost)
In order to be able to execute the responsibilities above, you will be working with internal and external partners. In addition, you will be constantly liaising between partners and businesses to contribute to the project's success. Your technical expertise will be needed in order to deliver the different projects with high quality and on time and to efficiently support the business.
Role requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience in a Service Engineering environment.
- Good communication skills in English and French.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Ishikawa)
- Knowledge of rolling stock products and solutions.
- knowledge of the engineering product structure.
- Knowledge of the following applications is strongly recommended: SAP, MS Office suite, Outlook.
In addition to the technical skill:
- You are an action-oriented person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You are a self-starter and a result-oriented person. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills are an important asset.

Bilingualism
Proficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
