Your responsabilities :
- You manage the movement of items as large as locomotives down to modules to build train cars.
- You work across multiple project teams to :
- Build the budget,
- Build the processes for loading and unloading,
- Define the performance metrics,
- Choose partners to manage the movements,
- Follow up on a daily basis with the teams to make sure that the work is being done safely, at quality, and to cost.
- You are the primary interface to ensure that our products are reaching our customers.
- Responsible for ensuring trains and major sub-components are transported on time and in safe conditions
- Contribute to supplier selection and total cost of ownership decisions for manufacturing footprint decisions that have freight / transport considerations
- Act as expert within project teams on movement of rail cars
- Drive consistency in process, systems & data across AT Sites
- Facilitates communication towards internal stakeholders and external stakeholders
