YOUR INTERNSHIP
Operability Engineer (OPE):
- The role of the OPE is to perform the Operability analysis to:
- Describe the operational environment where the train will be operated and identify related constraints to be considered in the design: Environmental conditions (Climatic conditions, EMC, Pollution, …) and interface to the infrastructure (Track, Power Supplies, Platforms, Tunnels, Bridges, Communications, …).
- Describe the operational needs and missions.
- Develop the train operational state diagram.
- Develop the Operational Use Cases and related operational scenarios.
- The analysis above is reviewed with Systems Engineers to confirm the alignment with the design of the train sub-systems.
- The analysis above is performed using Alstom standard process and templates.
Internship in Operability:
- Contribute to the Operability analysis of the Avelia Horizon product to be delivered to ONCF (ONCF is Morocco's national railway operator).
- Dedicated OPE is assigned to the ONCF project. The Intern will work in collaboration mainly with the OPE located in Saint-Bruno (Canada), but also with the rest the project team located in different sites: Larochelle (France), Barcelona (Spain), and Morocco.
- Avelia is the Alstom High Speed train product (TGV).
- The documentation of the ONCF project shall be in French.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree student in engineering, preferably reaching the end of the program.
- Ability to work inside a team for same project and deliverables.
- Resourceful personality, who likes the practical application of concepts compared to theory.
- In-depth knowledge of IT tools (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Good communication skills in French and English, written and spoken.
- Good technical background to deliver technical documentation in French.
