Could you be the full-time PME/DFO Manager in Saint-Bruno we’re looking for?


Your future role 

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and forward-thinking teammates. 

You'll drive industrial excellence and ensure seamless project execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, production, and quality teams) and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of implementing standard processes and ensuring manufacturability, but also drive continuous improvement actions to support production.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring that industrial assumptions (PIO, MoB, Macro-process) align with industrial Reflib and SMP/SML of the product range during the tender phase

  • Validating quotations relative to industrial costs

  • Implementing standard processes and product solutions (SMP/SML, standard equipment, standard solutions) during project execution

  • Ensuring manufacturability and transferability using validated technologies

  • Following co-engineering methodologies to optimize lead time and quality of development

  • Validating industrial scope during gate reviews and ensuring Serial Go conditions are met

  • Overseeing documentation and ERP data to ensure completeness, timeliness, and quality

  • Organizing and implementing manufacturing equipment in line with EHS rules and QCD targets

  • Driving continuous improvement actions and supporting production teams

  • Managing staff capacity, competencies, and workload forecasts

  • Contributing to PME networks and improving standards

  • Encouraging participation of team members in relevant networks

 


All about you

  • A degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field

  • 10 years of industrial experience, preferably in the railway industry or an international organization

  • Proven ability to manage a team of engineers and technicians in technical fields

  • Experience in process engineering, writing and improving manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up

  • Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards and systems

  • Strong organizational and logical thinking skills

  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities

  • Self-motivation with a commitment to achieving goals
