Pursuing its strategy in matter of Interiors design development, Alstom is now deploying its Interiors Development Center (CDS) for the Americas Region in its St-Bruno, Canada Site, complementing the Sites of Bangalore, India and Valenciennes, France.  Each center has its own multidisciplinary Team of Expert Engineers, technicians, buyers, quality, industrial, Project Management, all specialized in Interiors domains.  Their mission is to develop the Interiors Products of the future and to execute the projects they are responsible for, from the Tenders and up to the delivery of materials to the assembly line.


Join us as Industrialization Lead Engineer/Technician Interiors Development Center (CDS), and you’ll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno, Canada.


As the Industrialization Lead Engineer/Technician of the new Interiors Development Site (CDS), you will master the processes and way of working of the CDS Interiors and train/coach your team and colleagues on these and then be accountable for all Industrialization activities of the CDS interiors of St-Bruno.  In project execution, you will be responsible to validate the detailed industrialisation requirements for the Interiors scopes and this, through the full development cycle, including at the first installation on the assembly line and in line with the projects objectives in term of Quality, Cost and Time






  • Master the way or working and industrialisation processes of the CDS Interiors and deploy them in the CDS of St-Bruno
  • Provide training and coaching to is Team and Colleagues through the development cycle
  • Coordinate and manage this industrialization related activities in line with the Project objectives


In tenders:


  • Participate to the tender process, define industrialization requirements, and provide inputs for costing
  • Ensure that industrialization requirements and constraints are well understood and taken into account, in the specifications and during the development.
  • Identify and propose changes to the designs to improve industrialization performance, costs, time or quality of offers in preparation.


During detailed design phase and before Serial Go:

  • Consolidate and formalize the industrial requirements to be taken into account during the full development cycle
  • Analyse industrial and logistic aspects of the designs and propose changes to improve the product
  • Participate to risk analysis and P-FMEA.
  • Participate to validation of prototypes if any.
  • Drive industrial and logistic reviews with selected Suppliers and Alstom Assembly Site
  • Participate to the design reviews as Industrial representative and ensure industrial requirements are met at every stage of the development
  • Provide relevant documents and updates when needed
  • Support the implementation of the manufacturing process and the first components build
  • Drive the first inspection at the receiving site as well as the first mounting on the Train on the Assembly line
  • Improve methods, standard and control lists following Return of Experience (REX)





  • You are a Mechanical/Industrial Professional Engineer or Industrial Technician
  • You have 2 years’ experience in technical supervision
  • Excellent knowledge of Assembly processes and technologies, tolerancing and GD&T, PFMEA, task management
  • Excellent knowledge of Suppliers manufacturing processes of Interiors components in composite, aluminium of sheet metal,
  • Good skills in CATIA V5 and DMA
  • Experience in logistics requirements and instructions and the use of SAP
  • Ability to specify technical requirements
  • Ability to work in an international environment and a matrix organization
  • Good communication skills and fluent in French & English
