Finance Portfolio Manager leads a team of financial project Manager and oversees the financial performance of his sites/projects.  He works closely with the Solution director. He also guarantees the continuous improvement of financial processes.

 

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Responsible for providing accurate transparent information and performance enablers to the Solution Director & his management team
  • Assist the solution director in all financial matters  (guidance & interpretation of figures /data)

    • Interpretation of Data /Figures
  • Control and validate the financial data provided by the projects under his leadership.
  • Challenge and give some insight for risks or variance analyses.
  • Control environment for the cost management at project level to maximize performance.
  • Develop Action plans to optimise performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide financial support to his team of FPM and guidance to drive performance at project level.
  • Work at actual, forecast and budget levels.
  • Provide all necessary analysis and assistance to the management team of the regions and Head Qurter as requested 
  • Responsible of the finance cycle for his set of projects
  • Validate Projects budget, 3 Year Plan, Rolling Forecast, Reporting

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 8-10 years financial experience
  • Practical experience of financial reporting, having lived through several financial cycles (Budget, estimating, reporting, closing).
  • Previous experience in an industrial company.
  • Able to apply internal policies and procedures (i.e. RAMS, & Alstom GAP).
  • Superior understanding of cost classification & reporting.
  • Propose Change and Innovation, Lead Initiatives.
  • Demonstrate Teamwork, Honesty, Integrity, Courage and Conviction.
  • Reliable and well-organized
  • Resilience, ability to work under pressure and exposure N+1, N+2.
  • Manage complex controlling subjects

  • Builds partnership with site managers and functional leaders.
  • Defines priorities and perform tasks with limited supervision.
  • Able to communicate across the Organization.
