Your future role

You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration and validation of our digital solutions (application hosting, Telecom, IT network configuration, train to wayside communication), contributing to the delivery of high-quality, reliable systems that meet customer requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (project management, architecture design, and sub-system teams), troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure end-to-end testing processes are executed effectively, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of designing and implementing test environments, but also executing end-to-end testing and supporting project management activities.
We’ll look to you for:
- Designing and implementing the test environment, including delivering specifications for tools, data, and configurations necessary for comprehensive testing
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the test environment
- Planning test cases and data sets to execute end-to-end testing
- Validating digital integration, data interfaces, and overall performance alignment with customer requirements
- Identifying defects and ensuring resolution with project teams
- Supporting the planning and achievement of architecture reviews in all project steps/milestones
- Providing status, issues, and risks on deliverables to support project management activities
- Managing inputs and outputs with other sub-systems during design and validation phases

- Degree in Engineering or equivalent on-work experience in Telecom and IT network area
- Minimum 1 year in a managing position in an operational environment, particularly in a digital solutions context
- Hands-on development experience in one or more software phases such as software development or hardware-software integration
- Experience working in and with multi-national companies and diverse business cultures
- Knowledge of ALSTOM way of working for efficient process execution (desirable)
- Certification in System Engineering (desirable)
- Working knowledge of safety management systems and safety risk assessment (desirable)
- Good knowledge of railway products and systems
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills with the ability to orchestrate cross-functional activities in a multi-cultural and multi-level environment
- Result-oriented with the capacity to manage technical risks effectively
- Strong team player, rigorous, autonomous, and quick to learn complex technical topics
- Proficiency in English and French
