Join us as a Lead Digital Designer in Saint-Bruno and be part of a team of passionate innovators! In this role, you will design innovative and attractive mobility solutions for sustainable mobility users worldwide.

 

In this position, you will:

• Ensure production deadlines are met by supervising digital designers and visualization designers on a daily basis.

• Lead 3D modeling activities for the assigned studio and region.

• Lead digital visualization activities for the assigned studio and region.

• Ensure the successful execution of projects and build trusting relationships with all stakeholders.

• Serve as the entry point for exchanging technical data with engineering teams.

• Contribute to defining the digital domain's needs in terms of tools and skills.

• Propose innovative and creative ideas to meet our customers' digital support needs.

• Integrate technical and budgetary requirements into projects.

• Respect and apply Alstom's rules and guidelines regarding deliverables and working methods in industrial design.

• Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

• Contribute to consensus building: Ability to align with stakeholders in mechanical design (train level, subsystem group, internal center of excellence), customer expectations, industrial constraints (Alstom, suppliers), and cost and time constraints.

 

As the ideal candidate:

Must Have

• You have over 6 years of experience leading digital design teams within a multifunctional engineering environment, with expertise in delivering complex technical solutions.

• You have a Master's degree in Digital Design and Management.

• You have over 5 years of experience as a digital designer in the transportation sector.

• You have over 5 years of experience in the rail sector and rolling stock design.

• You have a strong understanding of industrialization processes.• You have extensive experience with virtual reality tools and software.

• You have a thorough command of design tools, modeling software (ALIAS Studio and Surface), animation software, and virtual reality software (Vred).

• You are bilingual in French and English (essential).

Desirable

• You have a strong command of computer programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python).

• You have knowledge of video game development software (Unity, Unreal Engine).

• You have a strong command of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom.

• You have marketing knowledge.

• You have excellent oral communication skills. 

 

Working Conditions

Location: Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec, J3V 6E6

Work Style: Hybrid

Salary: We offer an annual base salary between $100,000 and $115,000, depending on the candidate's experience and profile. (Based on a 40-hour work week) An annual performance-based bonus is also included in this compensation.
