The Component sub system manager (project manager):

Is accountable for the project Quality Cost Delivery Performance (QCDP) achievement for the Interiors component development site (CDS).

The candidate will lead and coordinate project activities and stakeholders from startup to close-out including:

  • Proper transfer from tender to project
  • Definition and execution of project objectives (product performance, planning, cost) to achieve customer satisfaction in the frame of the contract
  • Indirect resources management (matrix org) to achieve schedule and cost achievements
    • Monitor project staffing and costs
    • Manage supplier REC/NREC budgets
  • Lead the CDS interior development team and governance for the project
      • Make sure that key project stakeholders are aligned towards project goals
      • Engage project teams in the successful achievement of project objectives and strengthen relationships 
      • Synchronize internal partners and external suppliers
      • Drive the CDS interiors project planning
      • Lead monthly project performance reviews with management
  • Alignment with contractual requirements, management of variation orders and change management coordination
  • Proactive risk, saving and opportunity management
  • Ensures that Design for Quality process, Design reviews and standard processes are applied.
  • Manage first deliveries, missing parts and retrofits if needed

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5-8 years experience in project management in high mix / low volumes industries
  • Experience in engineering development projects 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Results oriented
  • Capable to anticipate issues and to be proactive
  • Ability to prioritize and to work effectively under pressure to meet the deadline
  • Able to work in an international, multi-site and matrix organization structure
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English
