Could you be the full-time Industrialisation Engineer in Saharanpur we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive industrial and process engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in the industrialization of maintenance activities at the Depot, ensuring the deliverables are met with excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, EHS, and Quality), streamline processes, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of simulating, designing, and procuring tools, jigs, and fixtures, as well as elaborating and defining the required industrial deliverables.
We’ll look to you for:

Leading the industrialization of technical documentation in alignment with standard operating procedures

Defining and implementing industrial processes, deliverables, and tools for project execution

Leading procurement activities (RFQs, PR/PO, Cashout) involved in the industrialization of tools, jigs, and equipment

Creating and validating industrial deliverables and training plans

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency

Contributing to continuous improvement to optimize productivity, industrial KPIs and standards, quality, and safety

Supporting vendor management and supplier coordination

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (BTech/BE) from a recognized university with 4+ years of experience in the railway industry

Experience or understanding of industrialization processes, including work instructions, tooling, workstation setup, and process optimization

Knowledge of rolling stock components, locomotive systems, and QSE standards
-
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

A certification in SAP/GSI (desirable)

Proficiency in IT tools (e.g., MS Office Suite) and design software such as AutoCAD or CATIA

Analytical and problem-solving skills for industrialization, with attention to detail
