Could you be the VIE Robotic Engineer  in Hornell we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

 

 Robot Programming & Automation:

  • Support the definition and validation of robot programming
  • Support the adjustment and optimization of robot programs 
  • Test paths and detect interferences using offline programming tools (Roboguide) 
  • Contribute to PLC program testing and validation 

 

Industrialization & Operations:

  • Support commissioning and qualification of robotic equipment 
  • Contribute to process validation and internal acceptance 
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of robot maintenance plans 
  • Implement and monitor Automation & Robotics KPIs:
  • Welding automated ratio KPIs
  • Usage KPIs
  • Robotics maturity KPIs (Expertise, Maintenance)

 

Continuous Improvement & Support:

  • Contribute to operator training plans 
  • Assist during technology transfer and knowledge acquisition phases 
  • Develop technical documentation and reports 
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

  • Bac+5 graduate with mechatronics /robotics
  • First experience in industrialization and automation will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of robotic systems & automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of industrial practices
  • Able to foster communications between multiple stakeholders (process expert, external engineers, industrial functions…)
  • Able to work across sites/functions in a multi-cultural environment
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills
  • Fluent Spanish and English
  • Driver’s license (appreciated)
