Could you be the full-time onsite Site Manufacturing Director in Sahagun, HID, MX we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the transformation of manufacturing processes and technologies, ensuring the highest standards in industrial quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) management. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering), oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing plans and resources, and much more.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Contribution of site manufacturing organization to Industrial Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) Management,

  • Supply chain process definition & validation,

  • Quality plan validation,

  • Oversight of industrialization activities,

  • Manufacturing contribution to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) risks & Ergonomics analysis,

  • Preparation of the site manufacturing activities, including manufacturing planning and resource management,

  • Industrial process Hand-over from Project Manufacturing Engineering (PME) to manufacturing,

  • Training of operators covering manufacturing & self-inspections,

  • Continuous improvement of SQCD performance of the manufacturing organization

  • Responsible for manufacturing equipment management (Investment requirements, OEE, Utilization ratio, …)

  • Contribution to site assets optimization (CAPEX reductions, CAPEX optimizations, Flexible manufacturing lines, ...)

  • Contribution to site/Alstom Indus 4.0 deployment initiatives (AOS, Automation, Digitalization…)


All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Engineering and/or Master Degree,

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience of Industrial Management and end-to-end processes from Engineering to product delivery,

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Technologies, Site Facilities & Maintenance, and Transfer of Technology,

  • Proficiency in English in all aspects of usage,

  • Understanding of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) rules and regulations,

  • Awareness of Supply Chain /Finance/Sourcing/Quality processes and their impact on manufacturing,

  • Knowledge of Products Knowledge and applicable social relations & labor law,

  • Competency in Lean Management tools, methods, culture,

  • Ability to utilize Digital & Analytics Tools for managing manufacturing activities (KPI, Governance)
