Role Overview:
As a Rolling Stock Systems Integration Engineer, you play a central role in the design, validation, and implementation of our cutting-edge rail systems. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across all subsystems while meeting our QCD commitments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with specialists to allocate transverse requirements.
  • Develop requirements from references, standards, and certification inputs and ensure compatibility across all sub-systems.
  • Define the Train System architecture and associated functionalities.
  • Engage in Train System FMECA in sync with the RAMS team.
  • Spearheaded technical relations with suppliers, ensuring consistent QCD commitments.
  • Support the TPM in train configuration decisions and engage in customer technical meetings.
  • Oversee the train verification strategy in alliance with Engineering, Certification, and TSS teams.
  • Lead the train integration and tuning process.
  • Address technical open issues during train revenue service upon TPM's request.
  • Regularly report on project and métier levels, aiding in risk mitigation and QCD optimization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A Master's degree would be a plus.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in systems integration.
  • Experience in rail is a plus.
  • Fluent in Business English.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, ability to switch between problem and solution perspectives.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ideally, you have a comprehensive understanding of internal processes, from Tenders to Projects and Engineering.
