Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to designing and integrating mechanical components and systems that enhance the safety, efficiency, and aesthetics of railway transport. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as internal design teams and external suppliers), prepare 3D models and 2D drawings, and ensure components meet assigned spaces and technical compliance, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:

Creating and maintaining 3D models and 2D drawings of parts and assemblies. ,

Ensuring designs comply with assigned spaces and defined interfaces. ,

Preparing space mock-ups (SAM) and installation documentation. ,

Reviewing and validating feedback from suppliers. ,

Participating in technical discussions to define solutions. ,

Managing engineering change requests. ,

Supporting tests and verifications at the plant or with suppliers. ,
-
Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality and technical compliance. ,
-
Leveraging PLM systems like ENOVIA or Teamcenter for design management. ,
-
Demonstrating rigor, attention to detail, and teamwork in all aspects of the role."

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. ,

Experience or understanding of mechanical design, preferably in a heavy industry context. ,

Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drafting tools (e.g., CATIA V5 or 3D Experience). ,

Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, such as ENOVIA or Teamcenter. ,

Fluency in English, with the ability to participate in technical discussions. ,

Rigor and attention to detail. ,

Teamwork and strong communication skills to collaborate across different departments. ,

Adaptability to manage engineering change requests effectively. ,
