Could you be the full-time onsite Jigs & Tools Engineer in Sahagun, HID, MX we’re looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to the development and optimization of high-quality jigs and tools, ensuring seamless production processes and operational excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering), support continuous improvement initiatives, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and translate them into effective tooling solutions. ,

  • Designing and developing jigs, fixtures, and tools to support efficient and accurate manufacturing processes. ,

  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost analyses for new tooling projects. ,

  • Ensuring that all jigs and tools meet safety, ergonomic, and quality standards. ,

  • Overseeing the testing and validation of jigs and tools before implementation. ,

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for tooling-related issues on the production floor. ,

  • Monitoring the performance of tools and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. ,

  • Managing documentation related to tooling design, modifications, and maintenance. ,

  • Coordinating with suppliers for the procurement of tooling materials and services. ,

  • Training production teams on the proper use and maintenance of jigs and tools."

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. ,

  • Experience or understanding of designing, developing, and maintaining jigs and tools for industrial manufacturing processes. ,

  • Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar). ,

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, or assembly. ,

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. ,

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. ,

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. ,

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards. ,

  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and processes. ,

  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
