Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Planner in Sahagun, HID, MX we’re looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain and production planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence by leading the generation and release of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned contracts, ensuring alignment through English-language conferences with clients (other Alstom sites in the USA or Canada) and the project's Core Team, which includes representatives from diverse areas such as Projects, Finance, Engineering, Industrial, Supply Chain, Production, and Quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., SAP system management, demand validation in GSI, and Material Requirements Planning), monitor production programs, and lead recovery plans to address deviations—all while generating and analyzing KPIs like OTD, TPT, and production progress, and representing the Planning department in cycle 2 meetings."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring the MPS is accurately loaded into the SAP (GSI) system. ,

  • Monitoring production schedules and collaborating with various departments to ensure adherence to the production plan. ,

  • Leading recovery plans and corrective actions in case of deviations from the production schedule. ,

  • Generating and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Throughput Time (TPT), and production progress. ,

  • Acting as the leader and representative of Planning in Cycle 2 meetings. ,

  • Driving alignment and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives. ,

  • Proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines are met. ,

  • Continuously improving planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. ,

  • Representing the Planning function in internal and external stakeholder meetings to communicate updates and resolve issues."

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. ,

  • Experience or understanding of production planning, supply chain processes, and material requirements planning (MRP). ,

  • Knowledge of SAP (GSI) or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. ,

  • Familiarity with KPI generation and analysis, such as OTD (On-Time Delivery), TPT (Throughput Time), and production progress tracking. ,

  • Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English for conducting conferences with international teams. ,

  • Leadership skills to coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams. ,

  • Problem-solving mindset to develop recovery plans and address production deviations. ,

  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. ,

  • Analytical skills to ensure accurate demand planning and system updates. ,
