Could you be the full-time onsite Electrical Harness Integration Engineer in Sahagun, HID, MX we’re looking for?
Your future role:
Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical engineering expertise in a new ground breaking field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll ensure the integrity and functionality of our electrical systems by guaranteeing the harnesses design and their routing integration across various products such as traction systems, electrical cubicles, power modules, and switchgears. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Design, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing), uphold design rules and product feasibility in compliance with industry norms, and enforce to the Alstom development process (DFQ) and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Guarantee the harnesses design and their routing integration inside the different products (traction system, electrical cubicle, power module & switchgear) by following the design rules, the respect of the product feasibility, the norms rules, and by the respect of the Alstom development process (DFQ).
- Ensuring that all electrical harness designs meet Alstom's meticulous standards and specifications,
- Following the Alstom development process (Design for Quality - DFQ) meticulously,
- Realize the deliverables taking account of the project inputs;
- Integrate the linked métier requirements: Advanced Industrialization, Harness designer, EMC, and Maintainability;
- Manage activities by using a retro planning of projects;
- Build the 3D model (routing) of each harness by co-working with mechanical designer, manufacturing engineering and S&A designer;
- Be the responsible of the detailed electrical harness design work you're doing: BoM kit, formboards, BoM in ERP & DMA, wiring list, Plug Maps, instructions sheets, jig & tools lists, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering;
- Proven track record in a similar role;
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in CATIA V5 or SolidWorks;
- Strong teamwork skills;
- Attention to detail and deadlines;
- Proficiency in responding adeptly to changes in project direction and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish both written and spoken.
