Within the Electrical Engineering team, reporting to the Train Electrical Engineer of the project, you will have functional responsibility for the Schematic and Apparatus Team of our international tenders and projects for Metro, Tramway and Regional Trains.

 

What are my responsibilities?

 

You are responsible for the set of deliverables of the Schematic & Apparatus team on Quality, Costs and deadlines for our rollingstock projects and tenders:

  • Design of principle and electrical schemes
  • Definition of elements / apparatus: circuit breaker, diode, resistance, contactor, terminal track…
  • Definition of electrical architectures on the whole of train with the Mechanical team of electrical integration
  • Design of electrical synoptics associated to architectures
  • Electrical calculation (circuit breaker rating and cables sizing)
  • Specifications of buttons / switches

 

You will contribute to the train development and validation, in connection with the different stakeholders of each project: System, Control, Mechanical design, Validation department.

You are accountable to our compliance to railway electrical standards and our good practices.

You will be actively involved in the continuous improvement and return of experience.

 

 

What do I need to qualify for this job?

 

Graduated with a Master’s in Engineering or equivalent, with a specialization in Electrical and Electro technical Engineering

You have 4 + years minimum experience of conception / design / electrical system installation, with electrical harness industrialization and/or manufacturing expertise acquired in industry or transport (knowledge of railway is ideal).

You have a solid experience in project management, including reporting and agile in managing cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication skills in French and English are essential as you will be evolving constantly in an international and multicultural environment.
