Within the Rolling Stock Product Line finance controlling team, we are looking for a RSC Finance Controller. The position is based in Saint-Ouen (France).

 

Under the responsibility of the Product Line RSC Function Cost Controller, the RSC Finance Controller works within a Controlling Team, and he will be focused on:

  • Financial Overview of involved sites, and their flows and processes
  • Hourly Rate - Over/Under-Recovery
  • Actuals, Forecast, Budget
  • Tax Compliance
  • Process design and control (for EDC)
  • Cost Structure and Hours efficiency/challenge
  • Headcount Cost Structure allocation and Month End Closure

 

Key accountabilities:

 

Process design and control

  • Analyze business flows to map and desing Finance Process and Governance
  • Ensure Tax and Accounting Compliance
  • Calculation of sustainable hourly rate by challenging the cost structure to maximize efficiency
  • Analysis of variation Actual vs. Budget/Forecast to find areas of issues, risks, opportunities
  • Develop a rolling forecast tool to predict hourly rate evolution based on workload, HC development and specific Indirect Costs
  • Monthly End Closure, Forecast, Budget

 

St Ouen Rolling Stock Controlling

  • Support Rolling Stock Controller in any activity related to Headcount and Cost Structure for Actuals, Forecast and Budget planning
  • Monthly End Closure in strict collaboration with Headquarter Controlling staff
  • Further Develop the Controlling model for the Business
  • Actual/Forecast/Budget management in partnership with Business
  • Ensure HC allocation and direct hours booking compliance with workload - Monthly analysis and challenge

 

Your profile for this role

  • Finance/Business University Degree
  • 2 years finance experience including industrial/ engineering finance, commercial or other finance roles
  • Prior external or internal audit and / or costing manager experience is a plus
  • Good general knowledge of IFRS and of the main basic accounting principle is a plus
  • Knowledge of Alstom accounting method and reporting processes is a plus
  • Excellent level in Excel
  • Cost-out oriented mindset with good communication skills in a matrix environment
  • Fluency in English is a must
