The Stream High Capacity (HC) is the new Alstom Double Deck regional train platform
The Product Manager will act as the main point of entry of the Platform and will coordinate the Product focused team in the Train development Site
to:
- Support the different Projects and ensure cross fertilisation and Return on Experience (REX)
- Steer development and product convergence during bid and project phases: Coach, Challenge and Verify
- Provide inputs for Research & Development and sustaining plan interlocutors
- Be the “voice of the Region(s)” to ensure needs are shared with our Regional Platform
He/she will report directly to the Rolling Stock Platform Product Director
Key accountabilities:

- Put in place adequate governance to ensure the adherence to the product reference all along the project.
- Participate to the Project Reviews' preparation to comment on the adherence to the targeted product reference, to the Business Awards, as well as to any relevant Project team governance so as to alert on a possible deviation vs targeted product reference, and request for arbitration between Product Director and Project Manager if required,
- Ensure robustness of the product project validation plan and associated results
- Ensure the respect of Design For Quality principles on Projects (ex.:participation to Train Gate Review)
- Consolidate the "Return on Experience" from projects
- Review in detail the product solution in pre-tender phase and bring support regions during project reviews milestones' preparation
- Challenge and validate any product solution changes to reach better Quality, Cost and Delay targets
- Drive standardization
- Propose & validate architecture
- Put in place objective evaluation of re-use on each tender as well as corresponding structured follow up in project
- According to each Platform organization, he/she will coordinates locally sustaining activities and reference library update
Studies & Experience:
Studies: Master’s degree in Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years

Project monitoring background
Tenders and Bids knowledge (planning, costing, industrial capacities…etc)
Knowledge of this range of Products is a plus

- Balanced skills between technical management and project management
- Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional activities and various stakeholders
- Ability for analysis, problem-solving and efficient decision-making in a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to federate teams
Located preferably in the Train Development Site, in Valenciennes (North of France) but coudl also be in Paris ( Saint-Oeun)
