Purpose of the job
Provide a consistent strategic support to Alstom RSC business by leading market price related activities

Based in St Ouen

Market Price RSC Director



Network & Links:

Worldwide Marketing Teams, RSC Platforms, Region Management, Strategy and Commercial Departments



Key Responsibilities (for his/her scope only):

  • Develop a deep knowledge of Alstom RS markets (size, price trend, customers typology, competition map, market addressability etc).
  • Become the “go-to” person for all market price-related topics for Regions
  • Support Platform Marketing Directors in collecting data on competitors’ products, positioning differentiators, performance and consolidate benchmark results ; organizational efficiency between Business Intelligence/ Market/Platform and Region is a must to be ensured.
  • Stay tuned on all external market studies that may interest RSC Platforms.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on price-related topics  and undertake deep-dive analyses on specific price topics
  • Inform stakeholders about main market trends (market drop, market booming, market shares evolution)
  • Support to all studies for profitability of new business models
  • Issue market price recommendation for all RSC tenders. Perform necessary calculations and lead discussions with Platform/Region. Be accountable for KPI regarding Market Price accuracy target. Ensure data consistency & trace data history.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Work experience in Rolling Stock (either in engineering, or costing, or tendering)
  • Good understanding of rolling stock products
  • Fluent in English
  • French is a plus
