As part of our Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems business, the Saint-Ouen Development Centre is in charge of designing the main Alstom Urban CBTC Signaling Solutions: Urbalis 400, a system deployed on more than 100 projects worldwide, and Urbalis Fluence, our latest and most innovative Urban Signaling System. 


OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As a VnV Architect, you will Demonstrate that a Product/System fulfils its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated) and technically support the VnV. Designers.

You will interface with System, project, product, Quality and safety team.



 • Contribute to global V&V Strategy definition, provide elements necessary to build V&V Plan

 • Continuous Support to the VV team in achieving the Objectives defined in the V&V Plan  

 • Define and Adopt to the new Technological Monitoring as per the project Needs

 • Discuss with Design and Safety teams for the issues identified during the test campaign

 • Participate in meetings with ISAR to explain and Defend V&V strategy and Work

 • Specify, design, develop and validate test environment & tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O, …) 

 • Specify and design overall tests: test architecture (test plan), test design (test cases)

 • Prepare overall tests (tests sheets and tests scenario)



Qualifications & Skills:

EDUCATION Bachelor/Postgraduate in Engineering – IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent



 • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization

 • Ability to drive through all obstacles, collaboration with global team in different geographical Locations



• Good experience in Requirement testing on Simulated and real test environment and opportunity to grow at System Level.

• Experience in Low level embedded SW Validation

• Strong Ability in problem solving and debugging, ability to narrow down the root cause in complex system


Language Skills:

 • Programming: C,ADA,C#

 • Tools: KlocWork, RTRT

 • Standards: CENELEC EN50128 / EN50129 / DO178A / DO178B
