Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your skills in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside motivated and energetic teammates and join our Services business and to work on the Sydney Metro Maintenance Project. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, taking care of Depot Operation and Safety and Depot Management with the primary focus of ensuring that rolling stock and CBTC systems are maintained to the required level of quality within time and budget. This is a permanent role, based at our facility in Rouse Hill where you will be a critical member of the operational team.

 

  •  Rolling Stock and CBTC Maintenance Supervision which includes all maintenance works scheduling, fault reporting and communication with Operation Control Centre (OCC), the Management of preventive and corrective maintenance Teams including Rolling Stock, CBTC signalling and all cleaning activities.
  •  Depot Operation Management within the Depot Control Centre (DCC) which includes train movements and shunting, train preparation, train wake up and shut down depot and plant maintenance, depot facilities maintenance.
  • Safety and Depot Possession Management in accordance with O&M Contractor's Safety Management System and Alstom's own Safety Management System
  • The position holder will manage their time as needed to enable the completion of their duties in accordance with specified procedures and regulations. At all times complying with the companies Quality, Health & Safety procedures and Maintenance Schedules.

 

 

All about you

 

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about problem solving. You will also have;

 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholder.
  • The ability to effectively manage competing priorities and thrive in an dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team of Technicians.
  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within a maintenance operation.
  • Sound understand of Rail and Rollingstock.
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualification preferred, but not essential.
