As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be fully dedicated to blue-collar recruitment, you will manage and coordinate all hiring needs for operators, technicians, field service staff and other shop-floor positions.
You will be the main point of contact for blue-collar recruitment in the Netherlands while collaborating closely with managers on each site (spread between Ridderkerk, Rotterdam and Utrecht), HRBPs and the wider Talent Acquisition Europe team, who provides tools, expertise and shared support.
The role requires a solid understanding of the Dutch blue-collar talent market, strong sourcing creativity, and the ability to attract, engage and convert candidates in a competitive environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all blue-collar positions across 4 Dutch sites (operators, technicians, assembly, maintenance, field service, warehouse).
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers and advise them on job requirements, market constraints and selection strategy.
- Design, execute and update the attraction strategy for blue collar recruitment in the Netherlands (local job boards, community networks, technical schools, agencies, social media, events).
- Actively source candidates and maintain regular outreach to create a strong pipeline for recurring positions.
- Ensure timely and structured follow-up of all recruitment processes, from screening to offer and contract preparation.
- Strengthen employer visibility locally in coordination with the European TA and Employer Branding teams (postings, ads, partnerships, fairs).
- Provide hiring managers and HRBPs with market insights (availability, competition, salary expectations, location-specific challenges).
- Collaborate with temporary staffing agencies when needed and manage these partnerships effectively.
- Maintain accurate data and status in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and report on recruitment KPIs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and share best practices with the wider European Talent Acquisition team.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in blue-collar recruitment on the Dutch market.
- Strong knowledge of local sourcing channels and labour dynamics across regions (Rotterdam, Utrecht, Ridderkerk areas).
- Ability to manage a high volume of vacancies independently across multiple sites.
- Experience recruiting in industrial, technical or operational environments.
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to challenge and guide hiring managers.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and follow-up capabilities.
- Hands-on, resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational context.
- Solid command of ATS tools and recruitment KPIs.
- Fluent Dutch required; strong English skills essential.
What we offer
- Gross monthly salary: €4,500 – €5,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Holiday allowance: 8% of annual salary
- Short-Term Incentive (STI): up to 8% of annual base salary
- 32-40 hrs/week with possibility to work 1 day from home
- Paid time off: 27 vacation days plus 13 additional ATV (reduction of working hours) days per year
- This position falls under the Metalektro Collective Labor Agreement (CAO Metalektro)
- Commuting allowance of €0.23 per kilometre and €0,27 per kilometre for business trips
