Your Role: 

As a Safety Assurance Engineer you will perform and ensure the activities related to safety assurance in the Projects.

Your Challenges: 

• Perform all the Safety Assurance activities on the project under the supervision of a Safety Assurance Manager as per Safety process defined in Signaling Safety Instruction
• Perform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspective
• Define safety plan
• Build the Safety Reports and the Safety Cases          
• Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project
• Attend periodic Safety Reviews          
• Defend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessors  

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (preferably Electronic Enginnering) or similar
• Knowledge concerning the Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc) and safety methodology & concepts/principles
• Successful experience in RAMS / Functional Safety Assurance is an asset
• English operational in reading and writing for technical documentation
