Customers demand for field services on Trackside signaling products is growing very fast either in Italy and outside. This is unveiling daily opportunities for growing Trackside business.

So we are looking for a field service engineer with that will embrace the following responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance, repair and settings after installation.
  • Technical remote support providing technical instruction and assistance to customers.
  • Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
  • Support ADM in new prototipation realization and testing phase with PA team
  • Plan, prepare and/or instruct external training programs as required, to deliver product knowledge in area of specialization.
  • Writing technical reports, ordering materials, securing quotations, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis.
  • Maintain strong EHS mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within Alstom and Country safety standards.

 

Requirements:

  • Technical High School Diploma in Mechatronic (or Mechnical/Electrotechnical areas or equivalent experience in the role at least 5years).
  • Drive License.
  • Availability to travel in Italy and worldwide (80% of work time).
  • MS Office knowledge & Autocad proficiency.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Very good knowledge of English.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in team.
  • Field Service or Operations experience in Signaling is a plus.

 

Job location:

  • Rome

It is required aailability to travel in all field installation Sites in Italy.
