Job Title: Power Supply Installation Foreman / Team Leader

 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Power Supply (POS) Installation Foreman/Team Leader.

In charge of:

  • Application of the method statements
  • Repartition of the charge into his team.
  • Capture of the data to fill the Quality controls reports
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES  

Key accountabilities

Management of its team to enable the delivery, erection, installation works achievement in the optimal conditions: performances, costs, quality and health and safety.

 

  • The POS Installation Foreman/Team Leader reports directly to the POS Supervisor Manager and is in charge of making sure that the power supply equipment is installed in conformity with the Basic and Detail Designs, the installation procedures, the Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) system, the Time Schedule in place and the work permit process.
  • The POS Installation Foreman/Team Leader is in charge of the work permit procedures (Lock-out/Tag-out/Track access/etc.) for his team if applicable.
  • Its duties also include the necessity to report on all technical aspects with his installation manager about Detail Design and Non-Conformities Reports (NCR) on equipment/materials.
  • During the installation, the POS Installation Foreman/Team Leader is required to organize the tasks, in a competent and consistent way, so that all key activities are properly done and controlled.
  • Its duties include the follow up of the service of the machine and maintain the highest level of availability.
  • The POS Installation Foreman/Team Leader alerts and reports to the management on any concerns he has related to the job he has to perform, and especially regarding: HSE, Quality, Access, Customer / Consultant requirements, etc.
  • The POS Installation Foreman/Team Leader is responsible for the onsite Quality Plan & HSE Plan implementation

 

Delivery

  • Daily report of his installation team.
  • Daily Quality controls reports
  • Daily Report of the equipment or material consumption.
  • Report of the service of plants, machines and tools

 

The POS Installation Foreman/Team Leader must be based on-shore, on site, typically in the Project Leading Unit.

  • Quality compliance regarding the drawing and Work Method Statements
  • Low level of absenteeism

 MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES

Educational Requirements

Mandatory

  • Power supply diploma/degree as technic qualification of electrician.

Desirable

  • Certification on Railway Safety
  • Certification on Site EHS management

Experience

Mandatory

  • Validated experience in POS Installation execution.
