In 2015 to support its growth and evolution, Alstom Transport is building a brand new Global Information Systems organization. This deep transformation program will lead us from an IS focused organization to a full IS&T provider for the Business. In this context, our main challenges are to deploy our new organization & international footprint, to integrate & set up new IT activities and to define new ways of working with our partners. Our strategy is to focus on business value and push innovation (emerging technologies, new services, ways of working…) while delivering operations excellence. The IS&T Business Partner will be in charge of managing local IS&T support services and support the local BP on managing local business relationship with regional / sub-regional partners.



  • Manage local on site support Services (IS & IT) partners on your perimeter:
    • Manage partner activities and monitors performance
    • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance plans and Service Agreements linked to contracts
    • Formalize issues, follow up and escalation with operations teams
    • Contribute to incident and problem management (led by operations team)
    • Liaise with local management (including site MDs) to deal with major incidents / crisis
    • Approve service requests depending on validation workflows
    • Identify needs for end user training / tutorials
    • The perimeter can include one or several sites in one country
  • Work on local business relationship with regional / sub-regional partners:
    •  Report local demands to regional / sub-regional partners and give feedback to the local business
    • Promote global services and solutions, ensure overall satisfaction
    • Could participate to site workshop, by delegation of regional / sub-regional partners, if IS&T needs to be represented (local cost reduction actions i.e)
  • Performance level during separation period at risk
  • Help and support site during transformation period




To be considered for this role, candidate need to demonstrate the following skills experience and attributes:     

  • Graduated with an engineering degree, preferably in information technology, proven experience in end user support.
  • Demonstrate good communication skills. Result oriented and show intellectual curiosity and creativity.
  • Fluent in English, eager to work with autonomy in an international environment and to face the challenges of the new Alstom
