Participate in Project risk assesment for externally supplied products, issue development and validation work packages to Regional and Site Supplier Quality functions to support Project delivery plan. Track status of work packages to completion and publish regular metrics to communicate progress to Project. Formalize installation and customer complaints on externally supplied products. Participate onsite at vendors for customer Factory Acceptance Test or First Article Inspection as needed



  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent or min 5 years experience within manufacturing industry or in a Quality role or in a Project role
  • Familiar with supplier qualifications standards (ISO, IRIS)
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practice
  • Familiar with Design for Quality or similiar product development cycle
  • Must be able to read supplier contracts
  • Must be financially literate to manage budgets and supplier invoices
  • Competency to use computer applications and prepare KPIs and presentations
  • Fluent in English.
  • Management experience in Supplier Quality
  • Railway experience a "plus"
  • Masters degree in Quality or Engineering a "plus"



  • Experience managing supplier relationships
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP system
  • Quality professional background with knowledge of quality tools (PFMEA, control plan, QRQC, 8D, Quality Wall, etc.).
  • Quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with typical manufacturing processes and associated failure modes
  • Experience in Quality Audit

  • Leadership, able to communicate with business partners
