As a Software Designer you will demonstrate that a software component fulfills its intended use when placed in its intended environment (real or simulated). You will interface with System, project, and Quality teams to meet QCD commitments as per the project needs.

Our  programs employ Agile development process.  The candidate will work with lead architect  to design, implementation, and unit test.



  • Contribute to end software deliverables such as software requirements specifications, software design documents, and professional high quality software executables.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and product development teams and cross-functional partners
  • Work closely with Software Architects to understand operations and translate them into clear software requirements
  • Participate in technical reviews
  • Develop software components, software tool chains, software module descriptions, and software module test descriptions
  • Work with project to diagnose customer issues and quickly resolve issues
  • Follow the Quality Management Standards and necessary vital software design standards (Applying required processes and standards)
  • Keep a strong link with the software developers, hardware designers, Reliability and V&V departments, through the whole software design cycle
  • Contribute to continuous improvement ( Retrospects, …)



B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science



  • Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in creation of code libraries, reusable codes, and model-based developments, Be agile and adaptive to Project dynamics
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.
  • Good Team player and have ownership towards assigned task & deliveries



  • Strong Problem-solving aptitude
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • Hands-on experience in C, RTOS-Linux
  • Experienced at converting software requirements and designs into source code
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools and workflow management tools is essential  (ex. ClearQuest, Git, RTC,  ...)
  • Awareness of any one of these SDLC models - SCRUM
  • Rail industry background is highly desirable, and similar safety critical industries can also be considered.
  • The ideal applicant will be able to thrive in a highly collaborative workplace and actively engage in the development process spread across different geographical locations.
  • Significant experience in software development including design, analysis, development, testing and delivery.

  • Ability to work as an independent contributor and communicate directly with customer
  • Be Innovative and define developer level test scenarios, and reusable solutions
  • Ability to prepare software requirements specification, and architect description documents
  • Ability to learn quickly in an agile work environment.


IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



  • Proficient in English language
  • Good written and Verbal communication skills
