Objective:

The Program Manager leads Alstom’s overall QCD of all assigned product/ and programs.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the roadmap of the System/Product
  • Propose System/Product specifications aligned with Solutions needs and requirements in coordination with other Program Managers as needed.
  • Manage, control and execute all development programs (performance. planning/delivery, cost, risks, savings) and in compliance with approved QCD commitments
  • Manage all program gate reviews and manage program work packages to meet QCD commitments
  • Ensure that the System/Product is easily deployable by Projects and supported by a comprehensive and efficient set of standard tools, procedures, training material and documentation (deployment kit)
  • Optimize and measure System/Product performances
  • Drive and make decision for issues that affect performance along with validation from Solution Director for any modification that affects deployment cost, planning, and performances of the System/Product
  • Be responsible for R&D programs. Prepare and present program reviews during Development center reviews
  • Project /program work package owner

     

    Educational Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Engineering
  •  

    Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering and product development
  • Development of product specifications and cost analysis
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team
  • Experience in railroad / transit signaling market (preferable)

     

    Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Excellent organizational and configuration management
  • Strong understanding of product design concepts
