<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Duties:  <span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Design complex new/modified signal systems in response to contract related requirements per company standards and customer specifications; contribute to the development of specifications for new or modified systems in area of specialization to meet contract requirements; investigate, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations in resolving complex, unique or major problems; provide technical leadership to individuals or teams in resolving problems as defined above; design electro-mechanical, relay-based software; review specification documents and assist in generating technical proposals and cost estimates; provide input/modifications to departmental work instructions and procedures; develop project related requirements for products from customer specifications for new or modified designs; provide and develop accurate material lists for both internal and external requirements on projects; and troubleshoot problems identified during factory and field test(s), offer possible technical solutions to minimize impact.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Requirements:<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"> Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; and three years of work experience in job offered or three years of work experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience with each of the following:

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">1.           Experience performing engineering analysis of test train data logs utilizing software, blueprints, field surveys, and PTC training;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">2.           Design wayside databases for ACSES PTC platform;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">3.           Transponder designs;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">4.           WIU designs;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">5.           Experience developing technical specifications for wayside equipment;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">6.           Developing wayside equipment test procedures;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">7.           Developing computer-based interlocking smart I/O Mapping;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">8.           Experience performing On-site equipment testing and commissioning;

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">9.           Documenting electrical schematics, wiring tables, and test procedures on signaling projects and participating in proposals for new projects; and

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">10.        Developing processes for train control applications and systems.

<span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
